“every creative act, no matter how small, is a triumph over death and despair.”
-michael lipsey.
Originally from Davenport, IA, I moved to Chicago to attend Loyola University. I graduated in May 2023 with a BA in Film & Digital Media Production and a minor in Sociology. Since then, I’ve been working as an Operations Assistant for Broadway in Chicago while completing freelance editing jobs on the side.
I am an extremely dedicated and hardworking individual with a passion for storytelling and artistic expression. As someone experienced in film, theatre, visual arts, poetry, and music, I’m detail-oriented, observant, and open-minded.
Within the world of filmmaking, I have a strong interest in writing, directing, editing, and art department. Outside of film, my passions include theatre (specifically stage management or stage design/props), drawing/painting, printmaking, and poetry.
My overall goal is to share authentic stories, truth, and meaning in everything I create. I love the sense of community formed by art, whether it’s found through collaboration with other artists or sharing work with audiences. My hope is to eventually inspire others the way so many artists and expressions inspire me.
